Welded components

We can also supply welded components to meet your needs, in compliance to EN 1090 or other codes and standards.

Our Heavy Components Division section is approved for welding work under a range of codes and standards. Our equipment and technical facilities permit production of welded components up to a weight of 70 tonnes.

Typical applications for welded components include equipment for plant, mechanical, structural-steel and hydropower engineering, as well as for the steel industry – they include, for example, welded frames, housings and enclosures, crane runway girders/lifting beams, converters, steelworks teeming ladles, charging skips, scrap skips, furnace doors.

Special parts can be supplied in coordination with the facilities available within Saar Stahlbau, and those at the various plants and locations (see Saar Stahlbau, Services).

If required, we can supply parts and/or components in package(s) for your project and from a single source!
